Gale Wayne Williams

Gale Wayne Williams of Licking passed away Thursday, June 30, 2011, at the age of 62 years. He was born May 10, 1949, in St. Louis, son of the late John F. and Alta J. (Speakman) Williams. In addition to his parents he was also preceded by a brother, Randy Williams and a nephew, Michael Williams. Gale was a born again Christian, and a member of the Sons of Thunder. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed his time in the sun, particularly when it was on, in, or near the river. He enjoyed food, his favorites being Red Lobster and a good steak. Gale will be missed by all those who knew and loved him including his daughter, Kelly Inman and husband Todd of Poplar Bluff, three grandchildren, Brittany, Seth and Jordan, four brothers, John Williams of the State of Texas, Terry and Curt Williams both of St. Louis and Darryl Williams of Farmington. Many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. Gale's family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Thursday, July 7, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the Cozean Chapel. Interment will be in the Rombauer Cemetery near Poplar Bluff. Memorials, if desired may be made to the Rombauer Cemetery Fund. Share your memories and condolences at cozean.biz
