Frieda Foster

IRONTON - Frieda L. Foster, of Ironton, passed away August 15, 2015 at the age of 86. She was born April 24, 1929 in St. Louis to the late Howard and Frieda (Fry) Livesay. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Steven Foster and former husband, Raymond Foster. Frieda was raised in the St. Louis area and moved to the Farmington area in the early 1990's. She enjoyed cooking and baking. Her family will fondly remember her mock apple pie and her wonderful fudge. She also liked crafting and gardening. Survivors include her children, Stewart Foster and wife, Rhonda, of House Springs and Sandra Foster of Pevely; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a brother, Cecil Livesay; a sister, Julia Fieser; and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her companion, Gilbert Wilkins. A celebration of life will be held in Frieda's honor at a later date.
