Freida Alma Casey

Freida Alma Casey of Farmington passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013, at the age of 85. She was born on April 28, 1927, at Boles, MO, daughter of the late Thomas William and Artie Ellen (Pierce) Bullock. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Casey in December of 2012; a son, Michael Casey in 2007, two daughters, Sharon Birchfield in 2012 and Diane Casey in 1949. "Casey" as most knew Freida had been a resident of the Farmington area for more than thirty years. She enjoyed going on bus trips and playing Bingo. She was a very outgoing person who never met a stranger. Survivors include her daughters, Cathy Hochstatter and husband, Terry, Faye Branstetter and husband, David, Floyd Casey, Jr. and companion, Mary, Linda Bryan and Roberta Wiles and husband, Charles; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call on Tuesday, April 9 at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 1 to 2 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Matt Prihoda officiating.
