Frank Joseph Lenkiewicz

SULLIVAN - Frank Joseph Lenkiewicz, of Sullivan passed away December 7, 2019 at NHC Health Care at the age of 71. He was born in St. Louis to the late Joseph W. Lenkiewicz and Regina Stella (Kostecki) Lenkiewicz . In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, William Lenkiewicz, stepmother, Lillian (Mullen) Lenkiewicz and his son-in-law, Alan J. Heid. Frank grew up in St. Louis where he graduated from high school. He went right into the Army proudly serving his country during Vietnam. When he came back to civilian life he went to work for Lincoln Industrial Company in St. Louis. After working there for many years he retired and enjoyed some of his favorite pastimes such as hunting, fishing, and just about anything outdoors. His family will most remember him as being a fun loving dad/brother/uncle who was always there for his family. Survivors include his wife, Vicki Lenkiewicz, 3 children, Tamara Daniel, Thomas Lenkiewicz, and Theresa Heid; 7 grandchildren; and 4 siblings, Barbara Patterson (husband, Jerry), Richard Lenkiewicz (wife, Susan), Elaine Mahr and Patricia Lenkiewicz; and countless nieces, nephews and extended family.
