Frank Albert Theobald

Frank Albert Theobald of Ironton passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at the age of 55. He was born on February 7, 1959, in Charleston, West Virginia the son of the late Frank Albert Theobald Sr.and Evelyn Mae (Sayre) Maxwell. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Ann Theobald and two brothers-in-law, Richard Barnes and Richard Edward Hill. Frank moved with his family to St. Louis from West Virginia when he was 7 years old. In his early 20's he accepted Christ into his life when he was a member of the Tower Grove Baptist Church in St. Louis. Later he rededicated his life to Christ and was currently a faithful member of the DeSoto First Baptist Church. He spent his adult life as an accomplished carpenter who worked in commercial construction. His family meant everything to him and he will be remembered as a loving and devoted father who always had a very giving heart. Frank will be missed by all of his loving family, his children, Keith Theobald and wife, Lindsey, and Michelle Corke and husband, Daniel; his wife, Tamara Theobald of DeSoto; three grandchildren; one sister, Linda Rose Hill; an aunt and uncle, Felicia and Ray "Harry" Fouty; as well as several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is the mother of his children, Vickie Theobald and his friends from his church which were like family to Frank. A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
