Frances M. Barnett

FARMINGTON Frances M. Barnett of Farmington passed away on June 4, 2018 at St. Francois Manor at the age of 76. She was born in Pond, Missouri on May 28 1942 to the late Francis Gerhart Poll and Estella Mary (Berdolt) Poll. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Barnett, Jr. in 1968; two sons, James Michael Barnett and David Vincent Barnett; a brother, Michael J. Poll and a sister, Arianna Poll.

Frances will be fondly remembered as a devoted and loving mother who gave more than she had. She was widowed in 1968 and worked hard raising her four children as a single mom who always had much love to give. She had a heart of gold and many hugs and kisses. Frances was a pet lover and she enjoyed watching westerns and sitcoms on television.

Survivors include her children, Aestella M. Barnett and Daniel (Laura Strand) Barnett; a sister, Rose Anna (Poll) Foytik; brothers, Matthw Poll, Christopher J. Poll and Mark Andrew Poll; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family also survive.

Memorial services will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in the Chapel at 10:15 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018 with Rev. Paul Bembower officiating. Share your condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
