Forrest Haile

Forrest Elwood Haile of Park Hills passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2007, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, at the age of 77 years. He was born on March 21, 1930, at Farmington, the son of the late Stella (Matthews) Haile. He was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Lucinda Matthews, two sisters, Geraldine Haile and Norma Ruth Williams, and a brother, Orville Haile. Mr. Haile attended the First Assembly Church of God of Park Hills. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during both the Korean and the Vietnam wars. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jeanie (Dunlap) Haile, three daughters, Janet Haggard and husband Henry, Connie Moon and husband Mike all of Farmington, Carol Crocker and husband Burnell of Park Hills, five grandchildren, Keith Moon and wife Tika, Doug Moon and wife Kristen, Joe Haggard, Rachel Crocker and Devin Crocker, and six great-grandchildren. Several other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2007. Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday with a funeral service at the Cozean Chapel at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Edward Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at the Frankclay Adams Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the First Assembly of God of Park Hills.
