Florence Bowling

FARMINGTON - Florence Rose Bowling of Farmington passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2015 at Parkland Weber Road Hospital. She was born May 10, 1938 in St. Louis to the late Joseph Randazzo and Rose Catherine (Beneigo) Randazzo. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers, two grandsons, Eric and Dustin and a great granddaughter, Kylie. Florence attended high school in St. Louis and went on to marry Delmar Ray Bowling. She was a dedicated wife and mother to her seven children who kept her very busy. In the early 1960's the Bowlings moved to the Farmington area to make their home. She put her family first even working miscellaneous jobs to make sure they had the extras in life. An excellent cook, Florence enjoyed serving meals to her large family. She also enjoyed playing board games and cards. Her children will always cherish and hold dear their mother's unconditional love. She will be sorely missed by those who love her including her children, Rose Bloom, Debra Rohrbach, Belinda Miller, Kathy Bergner, Tina McKenzie, Della Nees and James Bowling; twenty five grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren with two on the way; a brother, Dominic Randazzo; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. Friends may call on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 - 8 p.m. Visitation will resume from 7 a.m. Thursday morning until the time of the service beginning at 1 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment will follow at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Cozean Memorial Chapel to help defray the funeral costs.
