Eulah Marie Mcgraw Halton

Eulah Marie (McGraw) Halton of Farmington passed away Sunday, April 15, 2007, at the age of 85 years. She was born April 5, 1922, at Elvins, the daughter of the late James and Barbara (Mungle) McGraw. She was also preceded in death by a son, Daniel Halton; twin infant daughters; two brothers, Anthony McGraw and Everette McGraw; a sister, Beulah Zolman; and ex-husband, Frank Halton. Mrs. Halton was a lifetime resident of the area and a member of Hurryville Free Will Baptist Church. Before her retirement, she had been employed by the Anna Dodson Nursing Home as a nurses aide. Eulah enjoyed working in the garden, especially her flowers. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed. She is survived by three sons, Elmer Halton and wife Barb of OFallon, MO; Donald Halton of Farmington; and Larry Halton and wife Brenda of DeSoto; a daughter, Shirley Blackwell and husband Gale of Farmington; a daughter-in-law Linda Halton of Bonne Terre; a sister, Rosa Priest of Arnold; by thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives, and special caregivers of Community Manor also survive. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2007. Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday with a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Cozean Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Patton, MO. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimers Association.
