Euell "Gene" Crossett

FARMINGTON - Euell "Gene" Crossett, Sr. passed peacefully from this life into Life Eternal on January 9, 2018 at the age of 77 surrounded by family. He was born August 20, 1940 to the late Homer and Sally Ann (Sales) Crossett of Bragg City.

Gene was united in marriage to the late Joyce (Burgess) Crossett on September 17, 1960. To this union three children were born. One son, Euell Gene Crossett, Jr. of Farmington and two daughters, Luann (Mrs. David) Honerkamp of Park Hills and the late Lisa Renee Crossett. In addition to his parents, wife and daughter, he was preceded in death by one brother, Homer Crossett, Jr. and one sister, Maxine (Crossett) Inman.

Gene is survived by one son, Euell Gene Crossett, Jr of Farmington, one daughter, Luann (Mrs. David) Honerkamp of Park Hills, one son-in-law, David Honerkamp of Park Hills. He was a loving grandfather to Rachel Gann and Jeremy Gann, Joshua (Missy), Justin and Ryan Honerkamp and greatgrandfather to Mason and Otto Honerkamp, and one niece, Debbie (Mrs. Greg) Scott of Arnold.

Gene was a loving father, devoted husband and close friend to many. His passions included hunting, softball, St Louis Cardinals and westerns. He was looking forward to joining the loved ones who have preceded him in heaven.

The family will receive friends and loved ones at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 9:00 to 10:00 am on Saturday, January 13, 2018 with the funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m in the Cozean Chapel. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations/memorials may be made to the Visions of Hope Training Program, 501(c)3 of Farmington, Missouri.
