Ernest 'Huie' Mcmullin Sr.

PARK HILLS Ernest "Huie" McMullin, Sr., of Park Hills, entered into eternal rest suddenly on October 2, 2022, at his home at the age of 82. He was born on April 3, 1940, in Qulin, Missouri, to the late Marshall and Myrtle (Clancey) McMullin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen (Smith) McMullin, his brothers, Harry Lee McMullin, Joe Eddie McMullin, and Arthur McMullin, and his sister, Rosalie Huff. Huie is survived by his children, Earnest (Theresa) McMullin, Jr. of Park Hills and Lisa (Timmy) Davidson of Desloge, his grandchildren, Shawn (Heather) Mesey, Shelsie (Zach Riegert) Mesey, Ernest McMullin, and Danielle McMullin, his great grandchildren, Shawn Mesey, Jr., Emma Mesey, Rhyker McMullin, and Alora Quinn Riegert, his siblings, Mary Lou Bequette of Park Hills, Nellie Reynolds of Bismarck, and Earl (Christine) McMullin of Florida, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Huie proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He was a jack of all trades and a collector of many things. He enjoyed flea markets, auctions, camping, fishing, and hunting. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Funeral service to be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment to follow at Bismarck Odd Fellows Cemetery.
