Erma Lavada Hopkins

FARMINGTON Erma L. Hopkins of Farmington passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Presbyterian Manor at the age of 91 years. Erma was born on July 15, 1926 in Womack, Missouri, daughter of the late William H. and Virgie (Umfleet) Johnson. Erma was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Albert Hopkins; three brothers, Leonard Johnson, Hadly Johnson, and Leman Johnson; three sisters, Verna Clark, Eula Wells, and Trula Hahn; a stepson, Michael Hopkins.

Erma loved to collect old homemade quilts, she loved her family and was a faithful volunteer at Presbyterian Manor for years.

Erma is survived by her children, Angela West (Howard), James H. Propst (John Stevens), Mark Hopkins, (Kenda); granddaughter, Kelsey Hopkins; stepgranddaughter, Jada Klima (Sean); stepdaughters, Janet Swinger, and Donna Robart; and special friend, Ben Cade.

Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Sunday, Novemeber 5, 2017 from 12:00 - 3 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Chaplain Bob Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardnes in Farmington. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
