Elfriede Molyneux

Elfriede B. Molyneux of Farmington (formerly of Del Rio, TX) passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2009, at the age of 96 years, 7 months, and 9 days. She was born on November 12, 1912, at Dilley, TX, daughter of the late Hans Carl Brandenstein and Ida (Kreiger) Brandenstein. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold LaRue Molyneux and a son, Harry L. Hunter. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Del Rio, TX. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, knitting, sewing, and was a huge St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. Before her retirement she worked as a Secretary for the Del Rio Independant School District. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra L. Molyneux of Woodstock, IL and Ann Morgan of Farmington, MO. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Ray Hunter and wife Sandy, Jim Hunter and wife Cindea, John H. Morgan and wife Cyndi, Dr. Tim Morgan and wife Donna, and Joanna Tootle and husband Ned as well as eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Westlawn Cemetery in Del Rio, TX June 26, at 10 a.m. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Del Rio or the Val Verde County Library.
