Edythe Murill Holliday of Farmington, passed away March 16, 2008, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center at the age of 83 years. She was born at Ste. Genevieve County, the daughter of the late Howard Rolens and Sarah Keel. She was also preceded in death by two brothers. A long-time resident of the Farmington area, Mrs. Holliday was employed as a medical secreteary at the State Hospital. She was a member of the Farmington Church of God. She was an excellent seamstress and in her spare time, did sewing and alterations for people in the community. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Charlie Holliday of Farmington, three daughters, Sally (Larry) Heuman of Boonville, Sharon (Gayle) McDonald of Holton KS, Karen Wirtmiller of Topeka KS, four grand-children, Dale (Norma) Hueman of Green Ridge, MO, Lynn (Scott) Schumacher of Lexington, Les McDonald of Lincoln NE, Mary Elizabeth, (Aaron) Drybread of Manhattan KS, three great-grandchildren, several neices and nephews and a host of relatives and friends survive. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel, Tuesday, March 18, 2008, from 5:30 - 9 p.m.. Visitation will resume Wednesday at 7 a.m. with service following at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Jay Lacey officiating. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
