Edward Milan Green

STE. GENEVIEVE COUNTY - Edward Milan Green of Ste. Genevieve County, passed away, Saturday, May 11, 2013 at his home at the age of 62 years. He was born April 13 1951 at Cottonwood Point, Missouri, son of the late Alphus Childress and Tommie Louise (Hall) Green. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mattie Marrs and Evelyn Barnes, and two brothers Duke Green and William Green. Ed proudly served his country in the U.S. Air force during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Thailand where he served as a High Level Security Communications Technician. Following his time in the service, Ed worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company as a Line Technician. He was a member of American Legion Post 416 of Farmington. Survivors include his wife Diane Lynn (Ferguson) Green, brother Thomas (Doreen) Steward of Springfield, five sisters: Ruby Steward of Farmington, Helen (Paul) Chapdelaine of Londonderry, New Hampshire, Madge (Gene) Winch of Bonne Terre, Brenda (David) Lence of Maples, Florida, and Betty (Bill) Thompson of Linn, Missouri, special brother-in-law and friend Lindell (Brenda) Ferguson, and numerous other relatives, friends and neighbors. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 9 a.m to 10 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel.
