Edward 'Eddie' Frank Brands, Jr.

BONNE TERRE Edward "Eddie" Frank Brands, of Bonne Terre, formerly of St. Louis, entered into eternal rest on April 16, 2022, at St. Joe Manor at the age of 74. He was born on April 8, 1948, in Overland, Missouri to the late Edward Frank Brands Sr. and Dorothy (Lopez) Brands. Ed is survived by his daughters, Rosemarie Brands and Lisa Williams, his grandsons, Jesse and Travis, his siblings, Sharon (Thomas) Simpson of Dexter and William "Bill" (Roxanna) Brands of Farmington, his nieces and nephews, Samuel Simpson, Anita Simpson, Anthony Brands Jr., and Wyatt Brands, his aunts and uncles, Dorothy Murphy, Emma (Ralph) Vangenuoup, Jerry (Marie) Collinson, and Geri Sneed along with many friends. Ed was a graduate of Christian Brothers College in St. Louis. He formerly worked in maintenance at Boeing and, also at one time, owned an appliance store. He was nicknamed "Easy Ed" because of his generous and kind personality. He was a lover of animals and enjoyed singing, dancing, and playing horseshoes.
