Edith Artemis Roux

DESOTO - Edith Artemis Roux, of Desoto, formerly of Lemay, passed away June 18, 2013 at Baisch Nursing Center at the age of 80 years. She was born September 20, 1932 at Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Auman Howard and Susie Clara (Poff) Kay. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Glenwood Roux, three sisters Edna Kay, Ruth Fraser, and Helen Greeno, and two brothers Howard Kay and Dennis Kay. Edith is survived by a daughter Sherry Roux of Arnold, two sisters, Elsie Mullinax of Farmington and Dorothy Kay of Fredericktown, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 8p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Cozean Chapel on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Reverend Rick Hensley officiating. Interment will be at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
