FARMINGTON - Earl William Young, 84, of Farmington, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 at Southbrook Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center. He was born January 22, 1928 at Granite City, IL, son of the late Carl F. and Laura E. (Wein) Young. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Orville Young. He is survived by his wife, Trula M. (Huff) Young of Farmington, daughter Earlene J. Henson of Farmington, and a granddaughter, Cassandra N. Henson of Virginia Beach, VA. Earl proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean war, and was a life-time member of the Norman L. Rigdon VFW Post in Farmington. He has been a member of the Farmington First Assembly of God Church for the past 52 years, where in the past he had served as a Deacon and Church Treasurer. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2012. Friends may call again on Saturday after 7 a.m and until the time of the service at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Pastor Kevin Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family, would appreciate memorials to the Farmington First Assembly of God Church.
