ST. LOUIS - Earl William Land of St. Louis, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at St. Mary's Health Center in Richmond Heights at the age of 53 years. He was born January 30, 1961 in St. Louis. Earl proudly served in the United States Army from 1979 to 1985. He is survived by his parents David and Eula Land of Farmington, two sons David Allen Land (& Mandy) and Earl Michael Land (& Margie) both of Florida, a brother David Land, Jr. (& Rose) of Bowling Green, four sisters Eudora Land of Farmington, Ellen Cooper of San Antonio, Texas, Sharon ( & Bobbie) Browne of Potosi, and Janice (& Gene) Weiss of St. Louis, five grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. with the Reverend Bobbie Browne officiating. Full military honors will be conducted at the funeral home immediately following the funeral service. Private interment will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the River Christian Centre. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
