Dylan Joseph Woods

Dylan Joseph Woods of Farmington passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the age of 23. He was born on February 27, 1989, in Farmington, son of Joe E. and Mary I. (Gibson) Woods. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Inez Gibson and his paternal grandparents, Claude and Beulah Woods. Dylan grew up in Farmington where he attended Unitec and graduated from high school in 2007. He went on to attend Mineral Area College. He was an industrious person who enjoyed working. While in school he held numerous jobs working at Little Caesars, Auffenburg Chevrolet, PepsiCo and Aaron's Rent-a-Center. Currently he worked as a merchandiser for Hostess Brands. In his spare time Dylan loved skateboarding, four-wheeling and most recently his Jeep. He also enjoyed spending time with his many friends. As a final expression of Dylan's giving spirit he gave the gift of life as an organ donor. In addition to his parents survivors include his sister, Lindsey (Mrs. Shawn) Neel; his nephews, Braxton and Brock; his beloved girlfriend, Kristin Moore and her son who Dylan cherished, Trenton; maternal grandfather, Gary Gibson and his wife Janelle and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Thursday, March 8 from 5 to 9 p.m. Visitation will resume at 7 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Pastor Carl Cureton officiating.
