FENTON Douglas Weston Hacker, formerly of Farmington, passed away January 25, 2021 at Cori Manor Nursing and Rehab at the age of 66. He was born in St. Louis on October 4, 1954 to the late Edward Weston Hacker and Lena (Gilmer) Hacker. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Hacker. "Dougie" as most all knew him was so very loved by all the staff at Cori Manor Nursing and Rehab where he had resided for 21 years. He loved to sit in the front lobby where he loved to watch the people come and go. He kept track of everyone and was very observant and knew what color of car each staff drove. He enjoyed his daily bag of chips and Dr. Pepper and on special occasions he looked forward to having Kentucky Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and cole slaw. The nursing staff always made sure that Dougie had that special meal on any special days. The pleasure of caring for Dougie was a delight to all who worked at the facility where he lived. He will be sorely missed by everyone there. There will be a short visitation for Douglas at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 29, 2021 at one oclock p.m. followed by a Graveside Service beginning at 2 p.m. at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery near Farmington. All in attendance are required to wear facial masks and to social distance. Share your condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
