FARMINGTON- Dorsie Gene Williams of Farmington passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Southbrook Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center at the age of 81 years. He was born January 1, 1932 at Salem, son of the late William H. and Rebecca J.(Williams) Williams In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine F. (Delph) Williams and his daughter, Christine Diane (Williams) Black. Dorsie proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was retired from General Motors where he had been employed as a quality inspector. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Farmington. His is survived by a sister, Bonnie Williams of Salem, brother-in-law Dennis Delph of Arcadia, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. at the COZEAN MEMORIAL CHAPEL & CREMATORY on Wednesday, December 18, 2013. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Pastor James T. King officiating. Burial at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made the to St. Paul Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association.
