Dorothy Pauline Prier of Doe Run passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2007, at the age of 81 years. She was born on June 28, 1925 at Ste. Genevieve, the daughter of the late Ben and Ida Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Cowley, and second husband, Delmer Prier, two sons, Jerry and Ron Cowley, three brothers, Mitt, Kooney, and Harry Kennedy, three sisters, Marie Perkins, Hazel Graham, and Mabel Nash, an infant brother, and an infant great-grandchild. She is survived by a son, Tom Cowley and wife Susie of Doe Run, a daughter, Pauline Williams and husband Doug of Farmington, a step daughter, Pam Prier, of Belleview, MO, a daughter-in-law, Marie Cowley, of Imperial, MO, nine grandchildren, four step grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, a brother, Troy Kennedy and wife Gloria, of Farmington, a sister in law, Viola Kennedy, of Doe Run. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2007. Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday with a funeral service at 1 p.m. at the Cozean Chapel with Rev. Kevin Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Genevieve Baptist Church.
