Dorothy Lou Bereniski entered eternal rest on December 9, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born February 10, 1939, in Round Spring, Missouri to the late Arthur and Laura (Cook) Duff.
Dorothy is survived by her five daughters, Mary Clemmons, Linda (Eddie) White, Doris Cruise, Debbie (Norman) Sellars, and Allana Windle. Dorothy had 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren who loved her dearly. She is also survived by her sister, Sue Brewer and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Harry Bereniski, her son, Joey Bereniski, her son-in-law, Pat Cruise, four infant siblings, her two brothers, Jim and Tommy, and her two sisters, Alice and Clara Lee.
Dorothy spent many years working in the school cafeteria and the church nursery at First Free Will Baptist Church in Farmington. All her love went into all her care for her children, grandchildren, family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume on Saturday, December 14 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. in the Cozean chapel officiated by Reverend Mike Haney. Interment to follow at Little Vine Cemetery.
