Dorothy Jean Cook

BONNE TERRE Dorothy Jean Cook of Bonne Terre, entered into eternal rest on January 21, 2022, at her residence at the age of 89. She was born on May 24, 1932, in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Theodore and Eleanor (Brashear) Pyle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denis Henry Cook Jr., and her two sisters, Beverly Baker and Joyce Kaulen. Dorothy is survived by her children, Kathy Lee of Ste. Genevieve, Barb Cook of Bonne Terre, Patricia (husband, David Diesel) Cook of St. Louis, and Denis (wife, Billianna) Henry Cook III of Bonne Terre, her grandchildren, Barry Lee, Kyle Massey, Meggen Massey, Denis Henry Cook IV, Francesca Cook, and Maria Cook, one great granddaughter, Heaven Lee along with many friends. Dorothy enjoyed painting and was a talented artist. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
