Dorothy E. Ammons

Dorothy Ammons, 94, of Fredericktown, passed away January 27, 2016 at Ozark Manor. She was born in Jennings, Missouri to the late Fred Albert Niebling and Hulda Bertha (Lehmann) Niebling. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Ammons in 1991 and a step-daughter, Patricia Ann Smith.

Dorothy was a dedicated and loving mother and wife. She had worked as a cook for the Boy Scouts of America. She had a love for animals and enjoyed crocheting and crafting.

Survivors include her children, Walter Lee Peters, Cheri Worfler, Andrea St John and Ralph "David" Ammons. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A memorial service will be held at the Fredericktown Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Saturday, January 30 at 2 p.m. with Jeff Speers officiating. View the online obituary and share your memories and condolences at cozeanfuneralhhome.com.
