Doris Bereniski

SAINTE GENEVIEVE- Doris Mildred "Millie" Bereniski of Ste. Genevieve passed away, Friday May 16, 2014 at Mercy Jefferson Medical Center at the age of 64 years. She was born July 13, 1949 daughter of the late Everett and Ethel (Hoehn) Woods. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Spencer Woods, and four sisters Jean Downs, Pat Hall, Frances Cook, and Alene Weston. Millie was a member of the Little Vine Baptist Church at Sprott and a proud homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an artistic soul and enjoyed painting, drawing, quilting, and writing. She also enjoyed feeding the squirrels in her yard. She is survived by her husband Phillip Bereniski of Farmington, three children Phillip Wayne Bereniski of Ste. Genevieve, Norma Bereniski of Ironton, and Donald Paul Bereniski of Ironton, a sister Carol McCord of Sprott, sister-in-law Donna Woods of Kentucky, and numerous other relatives and friends. Friends may call on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 8p.m. At the Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume on Tuesday after 7 a.m. and continue until the time of the service at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel with the Reverend Lynn Sansoucie officiating. Interment will be in the Little Vine Church Cemetery at Sprott. The family requests memorials be made in care of the funeral home to a memorial monument fund.
