FARMINGTON -Donnie Frank Miller of Farmington passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Southbrook Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center at the age of 80 years. He was born November 13, 1934 at Corning, Arkansas son of the late Frank and Leudia (Whitaker) Miller. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Johnny D. Miller. Donnie proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a drill instructor from 1957 to 1959. Following his time in the service Donnie attended and graduated Barber College and worked as a Barber in and around St. Louis and in Farmington until retirement. In his younger years he enjoyed participating in the bowling league and was always an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan. He was particularly was proud of the fact that he regularly cut hair for many of the players when he worked in St. Louis. He is survived by his three children, Donna M. Fisher of St. Louis, Keith A. Miller of Eaton Rapids, MI, and Jeffrey S. Brown of Battle Creek, MI, a sister Melba Kuykendall of Omaha, AR, six grandchildren, Jason Hinklin-Lauderdale of St. Louis, Daniel Lauderdale of Wentzville, Dominic Curtis of Eaton Rapids, MI, Desaray Hanna of Eaton Rapids, MI, Kaden Brown of Battle Creek, MI and Gabriel Brown of Battle Creek, MI, four great-grandchildren Daniel, Lilly, Atticus, and Oliver and numerous other relatives and friends. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. with Chaplain Shirley Martka officiating. Military Honors will follow at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital.
