Donald Lee Todaro Sr. of rural Bonne Terre passed away on Friday, November 10, 2006, at his residence at the age of 65 years. He was born on October 28, 1941, in St. Louis, the son of the late Sam Todaro and Carmen Fernandez. He was also preceded in death by an infant brother and a sister. Donald was united in marriage to Bonita Romeo on December 29, 1961, and to that union four children were born; two sons, Donald Todaro Jr. and wife Patricia of Desloge, Sam Todaro and wife Chris also of DeSoto, two daughters, Tammy Olsen and husband Trent of Imperial, and Linda Todaro of Farmington. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Devon, Isabella, Christopher, Matthew, Keri, Savannah, Zakory and Ashley; three Brothers, Jim Todaro of DeSoto, Larry Todaro of Fredericktown, and Bill Todaro of Arnold, and a host of friends and other relatives. Donald was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church of down town St. Louis. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing. He was very much a family man and will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2006. Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. at the Cozean Memorial Chapel with Father John H. Schneider. Burial will follow at New Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the American Lung Association.
