Donald Tack Montgomery of Farmington, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2008, at the age of 73 years. He was born on August 26, 1934, at Bonne Terre, the son of the late Jesse and Golda (Jennings) Montgomery. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Russell Montgomery Sr., and a sister, Charlotte LaRose. Mr. Montgomery was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was also a member of Farmington Elks Lodge 1765, the American Legion of Ste. Genevieve and AMVETS of Perryville. He was a car salesman for many years in the Farmington area and worked as a manager for the St. Francois County Country Club. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time working in his yard. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy (Paule) Montgomery, three daughters, Carolyn (Tim) Williams of Farmington, Donna McNamara of Arnold, and Barbara Henderson of St. Louis; six grandchildren, Dustin, Jenna, and Kayla Williams James, Joseph, and Joshua McNamara, and two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Logan McNamara. Many other friends and relatives also survive. The family will receive friends at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 4:30 to 8 p.m. on Monday, August 4, 2008. Visitation will resume from 7 to 9 a.m. on Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father James Dyer officiating.
