Donald Ray Mullins

August 23, 1947 — December 26, 2015

FARMINGTON- Donald Ray Mullins of Farmington passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Parkland Health Center at the age of 68 years. He was born on August 23, 1947 at Bonne Terre son of the late John Samuel and Ellen Elizabeth (Combs) Mullins.

Don proudly served his country in the 41st Signal Battalion of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked at Little Tikes Manufacturing for over 27 years as a Purchasing Agent. He was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church of Farmington, a lifetime member of the Farmington VFW, and a proud member of Star Chapter 437 Touring & Riding Motorcycle Club.

He is survived by the love of his life and best friend, his wife Judy L. (Walters) Mullins of Farmington, two children, Douglas (& Dawn) Mullins of Imperial, and Jennifer (& Jason) Gerling of Jefferson City, two step-children, Stephanie Anne (& Kary) Johnson of Farmington and Donald Robertson of Ellington, a brother Ed (& Tina) Mullins of Desloge; ten grandchildren, Jonathan, Megan, Jack, Tyler, Zachary, Brad, Correl, Alicia, Jayden, Kati, and Tyler; eight great-grandchildren, his dear friends and fellow "Six Pack" members, Kathy & Dave Boone and Mike & Peggy Cruise, and numerous other relatives, dear friends and neighbors.

Friends may call on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel with the Reverend Scott Hall officiating. The procession will then be led by the Patriot Guard to Hillview Memorial Gardens for interment with full military honors. In lieu of floral tributes the family prefer memorials be made to The Wounded Warrior Project. Arrangements are under the direction of the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
