FARMINGTON - Donald Paul Oliver of Farmington passed away on January 21, 2021 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Peters at the age of 81. He was born on February 11, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Francis "Frank" and Frances (Spillan) Oliver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife of 23 years, Carol (Orlando) Oliver, his sister, Frances Rumsey, and the his brothers in law, Charles Bradford and Tim Severtson. Donald is survived by his children, Staci (Dennis) Pinkley of Farmington and Donald Paul "D.J." (Juliet) Oliver Jr. of Orange County, CA. He was Poppy to his five grandchildren, Reese, Piper, Isaac, Aiden and Mckenna. He is also survived by siblings, Virginia Bradford, Larry (Rebecca) Oliver, Jerry (Jane) Oliver, Marge Severtson, Beth (Buddy) Reyes, and Michael (Michele) Oliver, sisters in law and brothers in law, Joanne (Harold) Hartzel and James (Cynthia) Orlando and many nieces, nephews and friends. Donald proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He was a handy, do it yourself guy who enjoyed Westerns. He loved sports, especially baseball, and was an avid Anaheim Angels fan. He was a family man and especially loved his grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held later this summer in California.
