Donald James "D J" Halton of Farmington passed away on Friday, April 18, 2008 at the age of 23 years. He was born on October 17, 1984, in Farmington, the son of Donald E. Halton and the late Vivian (Ramsey) Halton. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Eulah and Frank Halton, Charles and Lorene Ramsey, and uncles, Jerry Ramsey, Chuck Ramsey and Danny Halton. He is survived by his father, Donald E. Halton and fiance, Sue of Farmington, two sisters, Donita and husband, Barry White of Farmington, Theresa and husband, Chad King of St. Louis. Uncle D J was deeply loved and adored by his nieces, Chloe and Alexa White and his nephew, Lance White. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles and numerous friends, including his best friend, Justin Glass and his father, Rob Glass. D J never met a stranger. It didnt take him long to make them a friend. He had a huge heart and wished to make everyone he knew happy. He will be forever missed but never forgotten. D J will live on in the hearts of everyone who was lucky enough to have known him. The family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2008. Visitation will resume at 7 a.m. on Tuesday with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Alan Berry officiating. Burial will follow at Three Rivers Cemetery. Memorials may be given to donors choice or to the National Liver Foundation.
