Donald Eugene Alcorn

FARMINGTON - Donald Eugene Alcorn, of Farmington and formerly of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2024 at Presbyterian Manor at the age of 86. He was born in Dayton, Pennsylvania on January 17, 1937 to the late John Reed Alcorn and Ruth (Neal) Alcorn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Jeanette Alcorn in 2016; and his mother and father-in-law, Rosa and Felix Arndt. Donald spent his career as a banker. He was a trust officer at Regions Bank in Montgomery, Alabama until his retirement. He was a member of Young Meadows Presbyterian Church in Montgomery and was active in an investment/financial group. He liked to travel and enjoyed meeting new people everywhere he went. Survivors include his sons, David (Michelle) Alcorn, Donald Alcorn and Douglas (Chris) Alcorn; a sister, Nelda (Mike) Shelley; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
