Donald Edward Christie Sr.

IRONTON - Donald Edward Christie Sr. of Ironton passed away April 23, 2019 at his residence at the age of 68. He was born August 4, 1950 in St. Louis, MO to the late Donald and Edna Christie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ted Christie. Donald retired from Bristol Meyers where he worked as a quality engineer. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, tinkering, playing video games on the computer and reading but most of all loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Donald is survived by his wife, Darlene (Payne) Christie of Ironton, his children, Donald E. (and wife Elizabeth) Christie Jr of Poplar Bluff and Rheanna Christie of St. Louis, stepson, Tim (and wife Angela) Zolman of Park Hills, six grandchildren and his brother, William Christie along with many friends.
