Doloris Yvonne Dee Kemp of Farmington passed away on June 10, 2008 at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center at the age of 69 years. She was born on July 21, 1938 in Fredericktown, the daughter of the late Elmer H. and Vivian (Quinton) Francis. She was also preceded in death by grandparents, Richard and Bertha (Simmons) Francis, and Robert and Edith (Watkins) Quinton. Dee was employed for many years as a Medical Clerk at the Bonne Terre Hospital and later at Mineral Area Orthopedics in Farmington. She loved to travel the southern states and decorated her home in the southern style. She enjoyed reading and was an excellent cook. She is survived by her husband, Bill Lee Kemp, a daughter, Marsha Long and her husband, Danny of Bonne Terre, two grandchildren, Johnna Sue DeClue and husband Doug of Desloge, and Glenn Long of Bonne Terre, a step-son, Dale Kemp (Rhonda) of Dexter, a step-daughter, Kimberly Felton (Dave) and two step-grandsons, Mark and Michael Felton, all of Marion, IL. Other relatives and friends also survive. The family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2008. Visitation will resume at 7 a.m. on Saturday. A funeral service will be held at the Cozean Chapel at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Ron Graham officiating. Burial will follow at the Christian Cemetery in Fredericktown. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
