Dolores Lavetta Cowley

FARMINGTON Dolores Lavetta Cowley of Farmington passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center at the age of 83 years, 11 months, and 9 days. She was born on November 4, 1932 at Brightstone daughter of the late John Thomas and Ida Mae (Fawcett) Clark. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Cowley, daughter Sharon Janssen, six brothers and 4 sisters.

She is survived by six children, Thomas (& Brenda) Cowley of Potosi, Richard (& Bonnie) Cowley of Desert Lake, California, Luther (& Brenda) Cowley of Colorado, Gary (& Lorelei) Cowley of Farmington, David (& Dessa) Cowley of Phoenix, Arizona, and Lavetta Cowley of Farmington. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment will follow at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
