Dolores Anne Duncan

FARMINGTON - Dolores Anne Duncan, 87, of Farmington passed away peacefully at home on November 16, 2024. She was born in Onorga, Illinois on December 20, 1936 to the late William Hendricks and LaFleta (Lininger) Hendricks. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Duncan in 2014; a granddaughter, Gabrielle Manford; and a sister, Janice Baron.

Dolores grew up in Onorga, Illinois where she was a 1954 high school graduate. She went on to attend business college in Joliet, Illinois. She married Robert Duncan in 1956 in Joliet. For twelve years Dolores was employed as secretary to the General at the Joiliet Arsenal. In her spare time, she loved to read, quilt and sew. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Farmington. She was most proud to be a grandmother to her three grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura (Eric) Manford of Farmington and her son, William Duncan of Rockford, Illinois; three grandchildren, Zachary, Aaron (Taylor) and Olivia Manford. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and good friends.
