DESLOGE - Dixie Lee (Napier) Elliott, 75, passed away Saturday July 21, 2012 at Parkland Health Center. She was born May 5, 1937 in Ferguson, Missouri, daughter of the late Herbert H. and Margorie A. (Milster) Napier. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Glen E. Elliott, and a brother Kenneth Napier. Dixie was retired from Butler Drafting Services of Lake St. Louis, where she had worked as a type setter. In her spare time she enjoyed traveling the world visiting, Europe, China, South America, Canada, and all of the United States, her favorite place being London, England. She is survived by her two children, Suzanna I. Hill of Desloge and Michael D. Elliott of Elsberry, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Visitation will resume on Thursday at 7 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be directed to the Disabled American Veteran's.
