Diane Blevins

DESOTO - Cheryl "Diane" Blevins, formerly of Farmington, passed away at Hillcrest Care Center in DeSoto on September 5, 2022 at the age of 65. She was born in Farmington on December 21, 1956 to the late Howard Cobb Lee and Rosie Elnora (Bridges) Lee. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Adrian Blevins, Sr. in 2007; siblings, Patricia Amonette, Larry Johnson, Melvin Lee and Mary Lee. Diane will be remembered for her wonderful cooking skills, especially her trademark recipe for meatballs. She often fed many people and said it relaxed her to cook large quantities of food. She was known for her generosity in offering her home and her care to many bonus children throughout the years. She loved going to church and reading the bible. She attended Pendleton Unity Baptist Church. Diane also enjoyed listening to her R and B music. She had a very special bond with her niece, Brooklyn Simily and bonus granddaughter, Felicity Cozine. Survivors include her beloved daughter, Tootie Blevins; a grandson, Adrian Blevins, Jr.; siblings, Rita Lee and Steve Lee; a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
