FREDERICKTOWN- Dennis Ray LaBrot of Fredericktown, passed away suddenly, Tuesday December 4, 2012 at the age of 62 years. He was born July 26, 1950 at Womack, son of the late John and Dotha (Scott) LaBrot. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann (Hahn) LaBrot, six brothers Leeman, Donald, Gary, J.D., Gerald, and James LaBrot, and two sisters, Pauline East and Murriel Pickert. Dennis was retired from the Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center in Farmington where he had worked as a Transport Driver for over 30 years. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the Army. He was an avid hunter and sportsman, and a devoted father and grandfather. He is survived by his son Mike LaBrot (Bev) of Farmington, two grandchildren, Gunner LaBrot and Paige Clark, and four sisters Nilda Finch of Farmington, Peggy Hahn (Raymond) of Doe Run, Brenda Smith of Cardova, TN, and Donna Meier of Angelton, TX. A large number of other relatives, neighbors and friends also survive. Friends may call on Friday, December 7, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory. A funeral service will be held on Saturday 1:30 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Burial with full military honors will follow at Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown.
