Delorse 'Dorrie' Ann Forsythe

FARMINGTON- Delorse "Dorrie" Ann Forsythe, of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on December 9, 2022, at Country Meadows at the age of 87. She was born on September 4, 1935, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, to the late William and Anthem (Howell) Duncan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Chalmer "Hank" Forsythe, her brother, Ralph Duncan, and her sisters, Ruby Campbell, Viola Johnson, and Pearl Harper. Dorrie is survived by her sons, Danny (Michelle) Forsythe, Randy (Vicki) Forsythe, Brett (Patti) Forsythe, and Doug (Sarah) Forsythe all of Farmington, her grandchildren, Jason Forsythe of Farmington, Andria (Travis) Hodge of Lake Ozark, Lindsey (Scott Clithero) Forsythe of St. Louis, Justin (Heather) Forsythe of Jefferson City, Jesse (Kaitlynn) Forsythe of Farmington, Hannah Forsythe of St. Louis, Terri (Billy) Moriarity of Lake Ozark, and Conner Forsythe of St. Louis, ten great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, special friends, Jim and Delores Plummer and Lloyd and Jetty Reese, along with many other friends. Dorrie retired from the St. Francois County Health Center where she was a CNA for 27 years. She was a member of the social group, "Night Timers". She enjoyed gardening, especially flowers and there wasnt a baby she didnt want to pick up. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume on Thursday, December 15 from 7:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment to follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
