Delores A. Tharp

PARK HILLS Delores Ann Tharp of Park Hills passed away on March 22, 2019 at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center in Farmington at the age of 92. She was born September 14, 1926 in Tulsa, OK to the late Fidel and Felicitas (Perez) Torres. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Max Tharp, her daughter, Donna Battles, her grandson, Nick (Harris) Haley, her sisters, Helen Martin and Mary Rodriguez and her brother, Pete Torres. Delores loved martial arts movies and going shopping, to the movies and out to eat with her daughter, Phyllis. In her adolescent years, she sung opera on the radio and also loved to dance. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Delores is survived her her children, Fred (and wife Pameula) Stuart of Spavinaw, OK and Phyllis (and husband Mike) Boyle of Park Hills, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great grandchildren, her brother, Bill Torres of Tulsa, OK and many nieces, nephews and friends.
