Dee Lantrip

FARMINGTON Dee Lantrip, age 70, of Farmington, MO passed away May 5, 2018 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born on July 16, 1947 in Oneonta, Alabama to the late Rena (Burk) Hathcock and Gene Godsby.

Dee attended college while in her 40's at University of Montevallo in Alabama where she received her bachelors and masters degree. While there, she served as the head of resident advisors and managed the theatre. She was very independent, loved helping others, had a great sense of humor and was young at heart. Dee was a die hard Auburn University fan, she enjoyed volunteering in the community, was an animal lover and loved traveling especially to the beach.

Survivors include her son, Michael (Jane) Lantrip of Bonne Terre, MO, daughter Laura (Darren) Fisher of Coolville, OH, grandchildren, Justin Whittington, Chris Lantrip, Travis (Lauren) Whittington, Katelyn Lantrip, Randi (Justin Slonaker) Lantrip, Joey (Becca) Fisher and Ryan Fisher, six great grandchildren, brother, Kevin Hathcock of Rainbow City, AL, special canine companion, Miss Holly and many friends.
