Deborah Kay Muse Easley

FARMINGTON Deborah Kay Muse Easley, of Farmington, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017 at her home at the age of 61. She was born May 13, 1956 in Union City, Tennessee to the late Klyce Muse and Helen (Burress) Muse.

"Debbie" as most knew her grew up in Union City, Tennessee. She attended school at Obion County Schools before going on to college at the University of Tennessee at Martin. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Education in 1978. While in college she met and married the love of her life, George "Yobo" Easley, Jr. on December 5, 1975. Her teaching career began in the Obion County School System and continued after she and George moved to Farmington, Missouri in 1981. She spent the final eighteen years shaping the hearts and lives of kindergartners at St. Paul Lutheran School. In her spare time, Debbie enjoyed shopping for antiques and collectables. Her real passion was for the children and parents that she served while at St. Paul.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, George; her brother, Ronald Muse; her nephew, Justin Muse and his wife, Kelly; sisters-in-law, Carol Easley and Gail Burdette and husband, Joel; brother-in-law, John Easley and wife, Delana; and numerous extended family members.

Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 5 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 27, at 2 p.m. at the Centenne Center in Farmington with Rev. Jeremiah Dietiker officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 29 beginning at 12 noon to 2 p.m at White Ranson Funeral Home in Union City, Tennessee followed by a graveside service at Eastview Cemetery in Union City under the direction of White Ranson Funeral Home.
