David Russell

David Brian Russell David Brian Russell, of Ste. Genevieve passed away January 27, 2015 at the age of 34. He was born in Farmington on May 31, 1980 to Danny and Beverly (McLeod) Russell. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Lucille Russell and Juanita Umfleet. David graduated from Farmington High School in 1999 and went on to serve his country in the U. S. Marine Corps from 2001 to 2005. After returning to civilian life, David went to work for Mississippi Lime Company where he was still employed. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. His family will remember him most for his love of family and his kind heart. Survivors in addition to his parents include his sister, Christine Hampton and husband, Matt; two nieces, Stephanie and Madison; a nephew, Wyatt; his maternal grandfather, Bob McLeod; his former wife, Keri Moyers and her children, Gage and Page; a special aunt, Gaye Fleury; a special uncle, Bub McLeod; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Bob McKinney officiating.
