David Ray Zumwalt

EUREKA- David Ray Zumwalt, of Eureka, formerly of Bismarck, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Mary Mount Manor in Eureka at the age of 60 years. He was born January 31, 1953 in East St. Louis, IL son of the late Percy Ray Zumwalt and Shirley (Aldrich) Parish. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father Walt Parish, Sr. and a brother Jim Parish. David was a self taught guitarist, enjoyed listening to and playing music, and loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him including four brothers Norman Zumwalt of Farmington, Richard (& Lillian) Zumwalt of Washington, Dan (& Kathy) Parish of Farmington, and Walt (& Darla) Parish, Jr. of Park Hills, good friend and long-time companion Ladena Moore of Ironton, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2013 at the Cozean Memorial Chapel. Private graveside services will be held at a later date at the Bismarck I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
