PARK HILLS - Dr. David N. Chapman of Park Hills passed away, Monday, September 7, 2015 at his home at the age of 62 years. He was born July 15, 1953 in Michigan son of the late Harold and Charlotte (Eller) Chapman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Mary Jo Chapman. David grew up in the Pontiac, Michigan area where he attended school and began his undergraduate degree at Oakland Community College later transferring to and graduating from The University of Arizona at Tucson. He then went on to Kirksville School of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 1984. He practiced medicine in both Arizona and Missouri and had a family practice in Farmington for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed listening to and playing Classic Rock and Blues music on his guitar and piano, reading, and in previous years biking and hiking with his wife. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him including his wife Debra P. (Reich) Chapman of Park Hills, three sons Ryan Chapman and Eric Chapman both of Park Hills, and Jeff Chapman of Farmington, a sister Nancy Sheldon of Pennsylvania, and numerous other relatives and friends. David's family will hold a memorial service at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 10 a.m. with the Reverend Matthew Prihoda officiating.
