David Lee Romero

David Lee Romero of Terre Du Lac, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2007, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, at the age of 45 years. He was born on May 2, 1962, in the State of Illinois, the son of the late Robert R. and Elinor (Kirkpatrick) Romero. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Angelee Romero, brothers, James, Richard, Michael and Robert. He is survived by seven children, Adam Romero, T. J. Eiskant, Jesse Romero, Shawn Shipp (Wendy), and Mike Morris, Nicole Romero and Jessica Romero, grandchildren, Tristin and Autum Shipp, sisters, Sharon and Karen Romero, special nephew, Bobby Romero, brother-in-law, Richard Hise, and sister-in-law, Cheryl Romero. Numerous cherished nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Mr. Romero enjoyed fishing and participated in many fishing tournaments. He was an amazing cook and lived for his children. He was a member of Local 1310 Floor Layers Union of St. Louis. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2007. Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday. A funeral service will be held at the Cozean Chapel at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
