David Edward Gutscher

PARK HILLS David Edward Gutscher, of Park Hills, entered into eternal rest on July 5, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 68. He was born on June 22, 1955, in Boston, Massachusetts, to the late Robert and Shirley (King) Gutscher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Sharon Gutscher. David is survived by his wife of 39 years, Penny (McBride) Gutscher, his children, Samantha Gutscher of Park Hills, MO, Leon Gutscher of Spokane, MO, and Robert Gutscher of Park Hills, MO, his brother, Charles "Chuck" Gutscher of Birch Tree, MO and his sister, Cheryl and husband, Frank Shoults of Hartshorn, MO, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. David retired as a sawmill worker. He was a man of Christian faith and loved his family and friends dearly. He enjoyed camping, floating, and going to car races, carshows and truck pulls with his sons. He also loved to cook and always made Sunday dinners for his family. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Private inurnment at Birch Tree Cemetery at a later date.
